Man down in Perkin’s Parking Lot & Mom Status Update
Comments(0) The other day, Melissa and I went out to eat at Perkin's restaurant with her parents. As I pulled into the parking lot, we saw an old guy rolling around in a parking lot. Well, I guess he wasn't rolling around. It looked more like a turtle that fell on it's back and couldn't get flipped over. I jumped out of the van to see if it was an emergency (aka heart attack, etc). Luckily, he just fell, and didn't break anything. Apparently he fell backwards when trying to get up on the curb. I picked him up, and he shuffled along into the restaurant where his wife was waiting.
I guess you never know what's going to happen in Green Bay. It can't be fun being on the verge of disability and knowing that it's going to get worse.
We'll, speaking of disability. I better give a status update on my Mom's condition. She's been doing great. She's able to walk around with only a cane, and she's even driving. She was able to take her ATV out for a spin the other day. She actually traded in her machine on a new one, so I'm pretty excited to see it.
