Comments(0) ObiShawn mentioned on his blog that he was annoyed by the fact that Community Server removes the “www” from your domain name. I completely agree, so I found out how to turn off that behavior. This post is what gave me the answer. Basically, in your CommunityServer.config file, you have to look for the “Core” element and change the “wwwStatus” element to “Require”. It works great on my blog now. You should always see the “www” prefix.

It’s getting tough to keep all my photos organized. I don’t like the fact that I have to assign categories to my photos. What do I do if it’s just a random picture of Ryan and someone else? Do I put it in the Ryan category? What if it was during a holiday? I wish that Fotki had some kind of “tags only” mode so that I could assign multiple categories to photos EASILY and then people could browse them easily. You can seem my small collection of tags here. Does anyone have any advice on how to best do this?
Comments(0) Today Community Server 2.0 was released. This is finally becoming a professional product. All this means to you, the blog reader, is that this site should hopefully work better. I’m also trying to change the look, so you can expect it to change until I get it the way I want it.

Comments(0) I was working on the basement, putting some screws into some 2×4’s. I was trying to put a 3″ screw in with my drill when the phillips bit slipped off the head of the screw. I’m posting a photo because I’m sure you’re dying to see it!
