Funny Bungee cord warnings

So I was reading the warnings attached to a bungee cord today. I’m not talking about the ones you jump with, I’m talking about the ones you strap stuff down with. Here they are:

  1. Always wear eye protection - It doesn’t say to only wear eye protection when using the cords, it says to ALWAYS use eye protection.
  2. Do not stretch beyond 75% of unstretched length - I’m not making these up people. When it’s just sitting there, it’s 100% unstreteched. Right?
  3. Do not stretch toward you - What??!??! You want me to stretch it away from myself so that when I let go it will hit me? That’s cruel.
  4. Do not anchor hook by it’s tip - Isn’t that what they are there for?
  5. Do not use to hold objects that may rise or shift with movement - What are they for then? To sit there?
  6. Keep out of reach of children - Ok, fair enough.

Sleep only 3-4 hours/day

I read a really interesting story about a guy that only sleeps 3-4 hours per day. He used to sleep 8 hours, but decided to try something called polyphasic sleep. If I only had to sleep this little, think of how much time I could use to keep my blog up to date! I’ll stick to my 10-12 hours/day of sleep. Wait, this is reality, try 7-8 when I’m lucky.

New Camera - Canon S2 IS

I’ve been busy taking lots of photos because I got my new Canon S2 IS camera. This thing is more useful than sliced bread. I’ve already take nearly 200 photos on it, so I’ll be uploading them very soon. It’s a 5mp digital camera with 12x optical zoom. I love the bright flash, the speed, and the amazing quality. I love this camera.

You’ll also start seeing descriptions with my photos on Fotki. For example, here are the photos of Ryan with Santa. I’m also going to be tagging the photos so that you can view them in different ways. For example, you’ll be able to look at all of the photos that Ryan is in, even if they aren’t specifically in his folder. That way you can see exactly what you want to see. I’ll have more information coming soon!
