I was setting up a couple of eMachines T3406 computers. I reinstalled Windows and all the other software. The only problem was that I couldn't find the audio drivers. If you look at the
product information page for this laptop, you won't see any drivers listed. I searched Google endlessly for a long time. Finally, I took a look at what was installed originally, and it was a Realtek AC97. I found the driver on
this page. Hopefully this will save someone a big headache. Some of the other drivers downloaded automatically from Windows update. For the network driver, I went straight to the Intel site and looked up the
Intel Pro 100 VE.
