eMachines T3406 Audio/Sound Driver

I was setting up a couple of eMachines T3406 computers. I reinstalled Windows and all the other software. The only problem was that I couldn’t find the audio drivers. If you look at the product information page for this laptop, you won’t see any drivers listed. I searched Google endlessly for a long time. Finally, I took a look at what was installed originally, and it was a Realtek AC97. I found the driver on this page. Hopefully this will save someone a big headache. Some of the other drivers downloaded automatically from Windows update. For the network driver, I went straight to the Intel site and looked up the Intel Pro 100 VE.

Ryan’s Trip to Sesame Street Live

On Friday we took Ryan to Sesame Street Live. He seemed to have a great time since Sesame street is his second favorite show after Blue’s Clues. He was younger than most of the kids there but that didn’t keep him from dancing, laughing, and clapping along. Toward the end, he started getting bored and wanted to go home. He’ll probably enjoy it a lot more when he gets older. I wish I had some photos, but it was dark and I didn’t take my regular camera.

Lunch was great, I’m stuffed

As an update to yesterday’s post, I though I would show you a photo of what the food looked like. There was 3 of us, and we each got a Hardee’s thickburger, and 3 orders of Potato Ole’s. We each only paid $5.00 because the burger was $3.50, and on Wednesday the Potato Ole’s are only $.50!!! We are all stuffed now, and in hindsight, 2 orders of Potato Ole’s are enough if you’re having a thickburger. MMMMMMM.

Big Lunch

Potato Ole’s

Tomorrow I’m going to be eating potatoe Ole’s at Taco John’s. They are like little hashbrowns, and are one of the best tasting foods on the planet. In other news, I’m eating pizza tonight which is also very good. That’s all I have to say about that.

Yummy

Star wars work comic - First installment

A guy I work with who goes by the name ObiShawn Kenobe has created some comics about work that are too funny to keep to ourselves. Most of them are work related, and wouldn’t make much sense to the general public. With ObiShawn’s permission, I will be displaying the best ones on this blog. Below is the first installment which was created when our friend Adam left the company.

Update: I fixed the image link. I used one that was only temporary. Work Star Wars Comic

New photos

I uploaded some more photos. Of particular interest are the halloween photos:

Martha’s Henchmen

I watched the Apprentice with Martha Steward tonight, due to a lack of anything decent to watch. What is the deal with the guy that always sits to her left? He has a cigar in his hand or mouth ALL THE TIME. The strangest part is that it’s not even lit. Why would you do that? It was driving me nuts.
