Microsoft Money 2006

A new version of Microsoft Money was released recently. I’ve been a compulsive upgrader of the product for years, because I use it so much. However, the new feature list looks pretty disappointing (see below). Is there anything new that isn’t on this list?

• Your budget, your way: It’s simple to track spending in categories you want to watch closely-like dining out, entertainment or clothing. Spending thermometers show you at a glance exactly how much you’ve spent and when you’re getting close to budget limits. And, now you can track as many favorite categories as you want!
• Better bill management: Money 2006 Premium helps you stay on top of upcoming and paid bills. And now you can pay multiple bills from multiple accounts all at once, making payment even easier.
• Included FREE! $249 value*: Complimentary financial services for Money 2006 Premium purchasers include: free credit report and one year of credit monitoring from Experian; Deduction Pro software from H&R Block; capital gains tax help from GainsKeeper; Moonjarr Moneybox, to teach your children about money; and a special offer on checks and forms from Deluxer.
• View and track Exchange Traded Funds: With Money 2006 Premium you can view and track your investments in Exchange Traded Funds.
• Stay on top of your investments. Automated price quotes keep your portfolio calculations up to date and make sure ROI calculations are current.
• Improved account and transaction matching. Now Money 2006 Premium makes it even easier to keep accounts up to date.
• Improved Backups: Updated backup options allow you to back up your Money file to CD or DVD.

Does anyone have any comments on this version? Is there anything that makes it worth upgrading?

Not sure if its worth upgrading from your past copy, if you can do everything you need to just fine with your other version, theres no point in upgrading every new release. but there is a free trial, Free Trial
